MARIN COUNTY'S PREMIERE SPOT FOR DOGS

We are so grateful for Camp K-9. Our pup Mila can sometimes be anxious boarding and their staff took extra special care with her helping her adjust to a new environment (thank you Meighan!). We also recently used their Emergency line when we had a family emergency and needed an early morning boarding solution before 6 am. They were responsive, flexible, and supportive — truly going the extra mile for their clients. Thank you Camp K-9!

We love Camp K-9 for daycare and boarding! The staff is incredible with the dogs and do a great job of grouping the dogs together, our puppy is always sad to be picked-up, because of how much fun she has with the humans and dogs. Also nothing is better then picking up a clean puppy after a weekend away, the bath services are great! On our return, when we came to pick up Neo, it just touched us completely to see our little guy bounce out to greet us and he was SO happy! But, the most tender moment was when “puppy-like” Neo came out to us, he did a quick turn around and bounced back for a second toward Megan as if to tell her “my parents are home! And thank you”! Megan mattered to Neo, and Ethan and I both took notice of that sweet moment…. it spoke volumes of the care he received. :))

Thank you for the wonderful care you gave Neo! Truly. The peace of mind having Neo stay in your care was so very very important to us-priceless. I've now boarded 3 rescue Huskies here since 2011 and I continue to be pleased with the service and the staff. Our current rescue dog Koda has anxiety and needed extra care easing into kennel life. We sent him to daycare 2x a week for several months to acclimate him. We were so happy when he really started to love playtime there and responded well to the people who handle him. Koda started to rush inside and whine with excitement every time we arrived! Now he has graduated to 3 night overnights and we feel so comfortable leaving him in the hands of the capable, kind and responsible employees at Camp K9. This place is a gem.

We LOVE Camp K-9! We love it is because our dog Beau's tail starts wagging when we exit the freeway, and then upon arrival, he pulls us to the door. We adopted our 14 pound Velcro dog, Beau, when he was 15 months- old and felt that he (and we) needed a bit of independence. We carefully researched programs and selected Camp K-9. Most importantly, the caregivers are warm, energetic, and one can see their enjoyment of dogs. Another consideration was the excellent indoor and outdoor facility. Lastly, we see happy dogs and people when we drop off and pick up. Thank you to the camp K-9 team.

Camp K-9 has been a lifesaver for us, with a new yellow lab puppy who is extremely active and loving. I never realized how much dogs love playing with dogs, and they really know what dogs need to develop and thrive. Our dog has an "active puppy" play group and comes home tired, fulfilled and ready to lap on love to us, too. The staff is so thorough, loving, and meticulous about taking care of the dog's needs. For us, Camp K-9 is a total blessing and we could not recommend it more highly!

I'm "uncle" to a number of dogs, some of them quite large and exuberant, including a sweet but powerful creature who suffers from significant separation anxiety. If she's not with her immediate family, or another trusted caregiver, the only place she can comfortably be is Camp K-9. Despite her anxieties, drop offs are no problem; the staff is always professional and kind, and she accompanies them with tail wagging. Upon pick-up, she's happy, well-rested, and excited (but not desperate) to see her people again. Based on my experience, I recommend Camp K-9 without hesitation...

We absolutely love Camp K-9. We've been clients for over 10 years. We come all the way from SF because it's worth it knowing our dogs are excited to be there. Recently our older dog was diagnosed with glaucoma and I was apprehensive to leave him because of the amount of medications he had to take and the fear that he could go blind if meds weren't administered properly. They reassured us that he would be fine and they took very good care of him. This is the only place we would leave our dogs. We've tried SF places and nothing compares to the care and attention that they pay to our basset hounds. They always leave us excited to be there and come home happy tired dogs! Thank you all at Camp K-9!!!

We have been using Camp K9 for over 4 years now and have only had wonderful experiences! Recently our Aussie was staying there for a week and they found 2 embedded foxtails (which can be very dangerous!) and called for permission and then took her to the vet for removal. They were so professional and loving and treated my pup as if she was their own. I cannot recommend this group more! I always feel safe when my dogs are with Camp k9. They get tons of love and exercise and they return to me happy and tired! Oh and when I drop my dogs off, they run inside to play and don't even say goodbye to me. That’s a great sign! I highly recommend Camp K9 of Marin. And if your dog ever has an emergency while staying there, these folks are total dog lovers and treat your dog as if they were their own. So great to have that peace of mind!!

Camp K9 is an amazing facility - the "counselors" seem attentive and skilled. Love seeing pics and videos of the dogs on Instagram and the online "camper cams".

Many kennels let the dogs play all day, but we've heard from multiple dog trainers that it's important (esp. for puppies) to have "quiet time". We started bringing our pup when she was very young and well on the way to being crate trained, so Camp K9 served to reinforce that training. It's also been an incredible source of socialization for our otherwise nervous pup. She comes home tired and relaxed after a day or overnight at "camp". Highly recommend Camp K9!

We found Camp K9 when we had to find a place for our 5 month old puppy to stay during our wedding out of state. I was really nervous about leaving her and we checked out a lot of places in lower Marin and this looked like the best. We haven't looked back since. Whether we're going out of town for the weekend or she needs to go just for daycare, our dog LOVES coming here and we are so comfortable leaving her in their very capable hands. We've called several times and given short notice and they're always able to work it out for us. When we walk in they know our dog by name (we go there maybe a few times a month) and they're always excited to see her. If you leave your dog overnight, they give you a little report card. They have lots of fun play rooms and take very good care of your pet, we've never had a problem. Our family has moved about an hour away recently, but I will willingly drive down to Corte Madera to Camp K9 if we need somewhere for our pup to stay.

Camp K9 is the answer to our prayers! After trying multiple other doggie day cares, I was ready to give up. Milly was coming home frantic and scared until we found camp K9. This is the first place that she willingly leaves my side to go with the dog sitters when I drop her off. She comes home happy and exhausted every day. She gets 3 almost hour-long play groups with dogs of her play level, and as a new dog mom, it's really nice to check in on the camper-cams throughout the work day. Even though they are a little pricier than some other options we tried, they are worth every penny at camp K9. I would highly recommend them.
