Wendell Laidley

Wendell Laidley is a passionate entrepreneur and technology executive with a strong background in technology-focused financial services. He is currently the CFO at Big Switch Networks, the next-generation data center networking company. Wendell was previously VP Finance at AppDynamics, one of the fastest growing private infrastructure software companies that was acquired by Cisco for $3.7 BB in January 2017.
Wendell and his wife, Claire-Marie, reside in Marin County with their two sons, Wendell Jr (14) and Christian (6). They are dog lovers to the core having raised four wonderful Labradors, with the first two living to the ripe old age of 15 while the other two (Phoebe and Remy) are on a similar path. Wendell's personal interests include cycling, water sports, skiing, golf, tennis, cooking, wine and travel.

Claire-Marie is a Bay Area native having grown up in the East Bay and San Francisco prior to moving to Marin County where she and Wendell started their family. They have two, active, young sons, Wendell Jr and Christian. When not shuttling her two young sons all over Marin and San Francisco County, she is volunteering in several Marin County community organizations, and assisting her husband on their latest wine project, Les Grands Vins de Colette. Her other interests relate to collecting and refurbishing early mid-century furniture, travel and cooking.
